Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and help develop a scalable finance setup. This role serves as the central interface between internal teams and external accountants while driving the implementation of a new ERP system. The position requires a hands-on approach to turn policies into practical processes for a fast-growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational accounting setup and ensure accurate documentation for bookkeeping and period-end closing.
• Act as the main point of contact for external accountants in Germany and the Netherlands, coordinating closing activities.
• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice validation, approval workflows, and payment execution.
• Maintain audit-ready approval processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Administer corporate credit cards, travel, and expense management tools.
• Coordinate bank transactions, reconciliations, and preparation of schedules for month-end closing.
• Lead the accounting workstream for ERP implementation, including process design, migration, and user training.
