About the role
Tailscale is seeking a Director, APAC Go-to-Market to establish and lead our business operations in the Asia Pacific region, starting from Singapore. This role involves building the regional strategy, recruiting a high-performing team, and driving commercial growth while serving as the primary voice for APAC within the global organization. You will act as a hands-on leader, engaging directly with strategic customers and partners to ensure long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Own the APAC regional pipeline creation and revenue growth.
- Build and execute the regional go-to-market strategy tailored to APAC market dynamics.
- Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing regional GTM organization.
- Engage personally in the region's most important sales opportunities and serve as an executive sponsor.
- Establish Tailscale's presence and credibility within the regional technology ecosystem.
- Act as the internal voice of APAC to influence global product, marketing, and engineering decisions.
