Senior Blockchain Intelligence Analyst, Ransomware

About the role

TRM Labs is seeking a high-judgment, autonomous analyst to specialize in ransomware investigations. You will leverage blockchain analytics, cyber threat intelligence, and cryptocurrency attribution to trace illicit funds, identify threat actor infrastructure, and generate actionable intelligence to support disruption efforts. This role focuses on leading complex investigations and elevating team tradecraft through technical expertise and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Produce finished intelligence on ransomware actors, affiliates, and laundering pathways.
• Lead complex end-to-end blockchain investigations from initial indicators to full attribution.
• Trace ransomware-related funds across multiple blockchains, mixers, and bridges.
• Correlate on-chain activity with OSINT and off-chain signals to build comprehensive adversary profiles.
• Draft source-cited, auditable intelligence products for investigative and executive audiences.
• Support asset recovery missions by identifying seizure or freeze opportunities.
• Mentor other analysts and refine investigative methodologies and workflows.
