Product Engineer

About the role

Black Forest Labs is seeking a Product Engineer to build the interfaces through which users interact with their frontier generative models. You will work alongside researchers and infrastructure engineers to turn complex model capabilities into fast, polished, and intuitive web applications. This role involves owning the frontend architecture while maintaining the ability to work across the full stack to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Ship high-quality web applications end to end from prototype to production.
• Own frontend architecture and establish engineering practices for the team.
• Set the visual bar for shared components, interaction details, and overall polish.
• Design solutions for complex interaction problems including long-running generations and real-time inference.
• Drive performance for high-volume media processing and latency optimization.
• Collaborate with research, infrastructure, growth, and design teams to define product strategy.
