About the role

In this position, you will be responsible for the further development and reliable operation of central business applications within the publishing environment. You will lead a team dedicated to driving the digitalization and optimization of operational processes. You will analyze existing processes, identify potential improvements, and coordinate the implementation of new requirements in close cooperation with specialist departments, IT, and external technology partners.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the professional and disciplinary management of the team and promotion of individual competencies.
• Ensuring the reliable operation of central business systems and active shaping of their functional and technical development.
• Analysis and improvement of operational processes along the value chain, from contract and remuneration processes to order processing, accounting, distribution, and event management.
• Coordination of professional requirements, evaluation of implementation options, and alignment of priorities with internal stakeholders and external technology partners.
• Support of software changes, testing procedures, and production launches while considering data quality, process security, and applicable guidelines.
• Establishment of efficient documentation standards, securing know-how, and promoting cross-departmental cooperation.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in the support, administration, or development of ERP solutions and business application systems
