Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer

About the role

SharkNinja is seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering group. You will identify system-level requirements, prototype and test solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on product designs throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Drive product definition by communicating system functions and requirements across disciplines
• Build proof-of-concept prototypes with microcontrollers and 3D-printed designs to shape early product direction
• Guide engineering, electrical, and marketing teams on tradeoffs within complex thermal and electromechanical products
• Develop unique product design solutions for Shark & Ninja products sold globally
• Define, design, build, and test new products across the full lifecycle within a multi-disciplinary team
• Work hands-on in the lab to evaluate, test, and fix design prototypes and production systems
• Interpret test results and feed findings back into product improvement
