Associate Software Engineer, Marketplace

About the role

Fleetio is seeking a product-minded Software Engineer to join the Marketplace Engineering Team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing features that connect customers to maintenance shops, facilitate service approvals, and manage payments. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, maintainable software that supports fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement features to build out the Marketplace offering.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Engage in collaborative design and architecture of new features.
• Write well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
• Research and implement prototypes to validate technical feasibility.
• Review peer code to ensure quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
