Senior Self Sovereign Identity and Wallets Engineer

About the role

Cofinity-X is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain core services focused on digital identity and wallet-related components. The role involves implementing secure, standards-compliant wallet functionality and collaborating with architects to translate technical and regulatory requirements into robust implementations. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of core services while contributing to API design and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core backend services with a focus on digital identity and wallet-related components
• Implement and operate secure, standards-compliant wallet functionality within the platform
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of core services
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to translate technical and regulatory requirements into robust implementations
• Contribute to API design and integration patterns for wallet and identity-related services
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in core services to ensure high availability and data integrity
• Stay current with relevant standards and specifications and participate in working groups and committees
