Software Engineer

About the role

Quantexa is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Research and Development team to help build the next generation of the Quantexa Platform. You will work on core backend services, processing and analyzing vast amounts of data to help clients tackle complex challenges in fraud detection and financial crime. The role involves contributing to the design, development, and delivery of scalable, distributed solutions within a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of innovative software solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable backend applications using JVM-based languages.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers across the business to solve complex technical challenges.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from implementation and testing to deployment and support.
• Apply functional programming principles and modern architectural patterns to create resilient systems.
