Senior Manager Logistics

About the role

Black Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Manager to lead and build our logistics function as we transition toward production. You will manage day-to-day operations while developing the processes, structures, and supply chain setup necessary for our next stage of growth. This role involves significant ownership in scaling our operational capabilities, including the setup of our new FabONE facility.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the logistics team and warehouse operations, providing both functional and disciplinary leadership.
• Ensure reliable day-to-day logistics operations across domestic and international transportation, shipping, and distribution.
• Develop and optimize processes across warehousing, receiving, inventory, transportation, shipping, and production support.
• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, cost performance, and delivery reliability, including SAP S/4HANA rollout.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across production, engineering, and procurement to ensure a reliable flow of materials and information.
• Manage dangerous goods handling and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to ADR, IATA, IMDG, and all relevant legal requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in logistics or warehouse management, import/export or manufacturing operations
• At least 4 years of disciplinary leadership and people management experience
• Experience in a startup/scale-up environment or complex corporate organization
• Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2)
