Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Surfly is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Product Engineering team in Amsterdam to work on the Webfuse platform. You will own production features from technical design through to maintenance, working across both frontend and backend boundaries. This role involves building in-session interfaces, developing backend services, and creating real-time collaboration features within a small, international team.

Responsibilities

• Build in-session interfaces and tools using TypeScript and Vue.js
• Develop APIs and backend services using Python, Django, Django REST Framework, Node.js, and Go
• Build real-time collaboration features using WebSockets and WebRTC
• Develop browser automation, in-session extensions, and security controls
• Build integrations with customer and partner systems
• Develop MCP and WebMCP capabilities for AI agent interaction
• Manage testing, debugging, deployment, and production maintenance for owned features

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field
• At least five years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production web applications
• Currently based in the Netherlands and able to work from our Amsterdam office four days per week
