About the role
CoMind is developing non-invasive neuromonitoring technology to improve the diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build the platform that transforms raw neuro-signals into longitudinal patient insights. You will play a central role in developing and optimizing Large Language Model software for neuromonitoring products, bridging the gap between AI research and regulated medical software.
Responsibilities
- Integrate an on-device LLM into the CoMind One system, connecting it to live neuromonitoring signals and building the query and response layer.
- Own the evaluation, prompting, and guard-rail approaches to ensure model outputs are safe and accurate for clinical use.
- Optimize inference performance on constrained on-device hardware, managing latency, memory, and throughput.
- Design and develop medical device software according to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 standards.
- Ensure AI deployments meet cybersecurity requirements and regulatory standards, including FDA guidance.
- Maintain the reliability of the deployed fleet and collaborate with hardware, product, and clinical teams to resolve issues.
