Technical Recruiter

About the role

Prior Labs is seeking a technical recruiter to own end-to-end hiring across Science, Engineering, and Data Science. You will be responsible for scaling the team by competing for top-tier talent against leading global AI labs. This role requires managing complex, multi-hub hiring processes and maintaining high standards for technical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Source scarce ML research, infrastructure, and forward-deployed talent globally
• Position Prior Labs compellingly against other foundation model labs and enterprise AI companies
• Navigate multi-hub hiring across Freiburg, Berlin, and New York including visas and compensation bands
• Screen technical depth across research, engineering, and customer-facing profiles
• Run efficient, structured interview loops with clear rubrics and fast debriefs
• Manage, negotiate, and close offers against competing frontier-lab packages
• Manage the pipeline operationally in the ATS with clean stages and weekly metrics

Qualifications

• 5+ years in-house technical recruiting at a deep-tech, AI/ML, or research-led startup
• Track record closing ML researchers or research engineers
• Experience hiring customer-facing engineering profiles
• Hands-on hiring experience across Germany, wider EU, and the US
