Software Deployment Engineer

About the role

The Software Deployment Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, configuration, installation, and support of warehouse execution and control systems. This role manages project-level system configuration, commissioning, and live troubleshooting independently across both on-site and remote project phases. It combines software commissioning, hardware coordination, database scripting, and formal testing responsibilities to optimize warehouse productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead software commissioning of Kommand and peripheral hardware systems at customer sites.
• Perform full-scope installation of pick-to-light and overhead illuminator systems, including wiring and configuration.
• Conduct Installation Qualification and User Acceptance Testing, including formal documentation and sign-off.
• Deliver new Kommand installations, including application pre-configuration, database scripting, and testing.
• Execute Kommand version upgrades, including schema comparisons and version control.
• Validate, diagnose, and remediate reported defects and participate in on-call support rotations.
• Translate business requirements into system settings, network configurations, and parameters.
