Senior Fullstack Engineer

About the role

Dotfile is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join an AI-native team building a compliance operating system for financial institutions. You will own projects from discovery through to production, working closely with product and engineering teams to design and ship reliable, secure software. This role requires deep technical expertise and a commitment to leveraging AI-assisted development to improve team efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from discovery and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment and follow-up.
• Work closely with product and other engineers to understand customer needs, challenge assumptions and turn complex requirements into clear, usable software.
• Build and improve the interfaces, APIs and services that financial institutions rely on for their compliance operations.
• Make pragmatic technical decisions, balancing delivery speed with reliability, security and maintainability.
• Investigate production issues and improve performance, observability and resilience as the platform grows.
• Raise the engineering bar through knowledge sharing and improvements to how we develop and ship software.
• Contribute to the evolution of our platform as we build more AI-powered compliance capabilities.
