About the role
Genomics is a science-led TechBio company combining large-scale genetic data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and preventative healthcare. As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will own application security end-to-end for multi-tenant, large-scale AI-enabled data platforms. You will lead threat modelling, design reviews, and build security tooling to protect sensitive genomic data against state-of-the-art threats.
Responsibilities
- Leading threat modelling and design reviews for new products and infrastructure
- Building libraries, patterns, and CI/CD guardrails to ensure secure development
- Building and tuning AI tooling for code analysis, triage, and remediation
- Hunting for vulnerabilities through code review, testing, and proof-of-concept exploits
- Securing agentic and AI surfaces, including prompt injection and tool boundaries
- Working as an embedded partner to product, SRE, and data platform teams
