Senior Product Director, Agentification, Skills and Data

About the role

This role leads the strategy and development of the core skills, tools, and agentification layer for WPP's AI marketing platform, WPP Open. The successful candidate will define how agents interact with applications, establish safety guardrails, and manage the data and context strategies that power autonomous agentic workflows. This is a technical product leadership position focused on making enterprise products agent-native and ensuring reliable, scalable AI performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for skills, tools and agentification across WPP Open.
• Define the core set of skills that WPP's agents are built from.
• Own the tool layer, including interfaces, contracts, permissions and connectivity standards such as MCP.
• Lead the agentification of WPP applications to make their capabilities callable, observable and safe.
• Define guardrails for agent behavior and authority in collaboration with Agent Governance.
• Own the evaluation and quality approach for skills and chained agent output.
• Define the data and context strategy spanning retrieval, grounding, memory and context management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, UX and Data teams to deliver a coherent skills layer.
