About the role
Testlio is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for the company's public API, partner integrations, and identity and access surfaces. This role involves setting technical direction, managing a team of engineers, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of systems that connect Testlio to the outside world. You will work closely with product management and enterprise clients to deliver high-quality, self-serve integration solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team responsible for the programmatic perimeter, including public APIs and bi-directional sync with third-party tools.
- Define and execute the public API strategy, focusing on OpenAPI standards, versioning, and security.
- Set the multi-quarter technical direction for integration architecture and manage third-party dependencies.
- Establish engineering operating rhythms, including planning, prioritization, and design reviews.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including writing production code and reviewing critical technical designs.
- Define service level objectives and build observability dashboards to ensure integration health and reliability.
- Coach and mentor engineers to foster technical growth and reduce knowledge silos.
