About the role
In this role, you will build, manage, and support a globally distributed engineering team delivering high-quality, reliable platform capabilities. You will hire and onboard talent, guide technical delivery, and align engineering execution with product management, design, and business goals. Your work will help engineers grow and improve operational excellence in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and mentor a globally distributed engineering team.
- Hire, onboard, and develop engineers while maintaining high standards for quality and accountability.
- Partner with product management, design, and cross-functional teams to align technical direction and shape roadmaps.
- Guide engineers on system architecture, code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Manage and refine agile, remote, and asynchronous workflows to maintain delivery cadence.
- Encourage and integrate AI capabilities and modern developer tooling into daily workflows.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and provide continuous feedback to support career progression.
- Maintain visibility into operational health and participate in incident management rotations.
