Senior IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

About the role

Cuculus is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to own and improve their IT infrastructure, Jira Cloud administration, and Linux systems. This role involves leading the transition from VM-based hosting to Microsoft Azure while maintaining operational security and infrastructure automation. The successful candidate will act as an escalation point for complex issues and help build a reliable, secure, and cloud-based IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of virtual machines and services to Microsoft Azure.
• Design and maintain Azure infrastructure including networking, storage, identity, and monitoring.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code and automation using tools like Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Maintain and support Linux servers, Docker environments, and internal services.
• Administer and govern Jira Cloud, including projects, workflows, and integrations.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration.
• Maintain secure network connectivity, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and operational security controls.
• Provide advanced technical support and document systems, dependencies, and maintenance procedures.
