Technical Director – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Technical Director will provide technical leadership across wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects to support the company's energy infrastructure investments. This role involves assessing asset performance, conducting technical due diligence for M&A activities, and managing relationships with external technical partners. The position is integral to the investment, commercial, and asset management teams, with potential for team leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership across wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects.
• Assessing and optimizing the performance and reliability of our assets.
• Supporting investment and M&A activities with deep technical due diligence.
• Advising on asset development, engineering, and operational strategies.
• Managing relationships with OEMs, technical advisors, and service providers.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and technical best practices.
• Being an integral part of and sharing knowledge with the Investment, Commercial, and Asset management teams.
