Principal Solutions Architect

About the role

Nscale is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to design and deliver end-to-end GPU infrastructure solutions for demanding AI workloads. This customer-facing role involves translating complex requirements into scalable, high-performance designs spanning GPU compute, networking, storage, and orchestration. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, and scalability standards.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end GPU infrastructure solutions tailored to customer requirements and AI workloads.
• Architect GPU cluster configurations, including rack layouts, power and cooling, and NVLink/NVSwitch domains.
• Design high-performance network architectures, including leaf/spine, InfiniBand, Ethernet, RoCE, and GPUDirect RDMA.
• Define storage architectures and data pipelines supporting large-scale AI training and inference.
• Engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements and guide infrastructure design decisions.
• Lead performance benchmarking and infrastructure validation plans for GPU clusters.
• Leverage AI tooling and Infrastructure-as-Code to automate and accelerate design and deployment workflows.
