About the role

The Metrology Manager ensures the metrological compliance of equipment used for the transport of biological samples. You will be responsible for the study, selection, installation, and monitoring of temperature-controlled equipment in refrigerated vehicles to maintain the cold chain. This role involves close collaboration with the fleet manager, operations teams, and suppliers to ensure transport reliability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the company's metrological policy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the transport of biological samples.
• Manage temperature measurement equipment including sensors, recorders, and probes.
• Organize verification, calibration, and qualification operations for equipment.
• Analyze temperature deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee the installation of refrigeration equipment and onboard monitoring systems.
• Coordinate with the fleet and operations departments to manage maintenance and vehicle availability.
• Train drivers on cold chain maintenance best practices.
