EDA Platform Engineer

About the role

As an EDA Platform Engineer, you are responsible for the technical foundation of multiple EDA environments. You will work on Linux-based systems that support digital and analog design flows, verification, simulation, and synthesis. This role involves both platform development to standardize and automate environments and day-to-day operations within customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and maintain Linux-based EDA environments
• Install, manage and support EDA toolchains
• Manage and troubleshoot license servers and license usage
• Support compute-intensive workloads
• Work with engineers to understand design flows and usage patterns
• Diagnose and resolve performance, stability and scalability issues
• Improve reproducibility of environments
• Automate setup, provisioning and operational tasks
• Help define standards and best practices for EDA environments
