DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Namespace, you will build and operate the infrastructure that powers the company's developer platform. You will own the compute, storage, and networking components to ensure the platform remains fast, reliable, and cost-effective for customers. The role focuses on optimizing performance and automating infrastructure to support rapid scaling.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure that runs every customer’s build, test, and CI job on Namespace.
• Optimize performance across compute, memory, storage, and networking.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, scaling, and recovery across our fleet.
• Build observability, alerting, and incident response processes that identify and resolve issues before they affect customers.
• Drive capacity planning and cost efficiency, so we continue to deliver infrastructure that is both faster and more cost-effective.
• Collaborate closely with product engineers to ship new capabilities quickly and safely.
