Senior Data Scientist

About the role

DuckDuckGo is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive product and business impact through statistical modeling, experiment design, and classifier implementation. You will take end-to-end ownership of projects ranging from scoping to production, working across search, AI, and revenue optimization initiatives. This role requires a focus on privacy-first data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from sparse datasets.

Responsibilities

• Define core growth metrics and build infrastructure to monitor trends and anomalies.
• Measure the impact of marketing campaigns and translate full-funnel data into actionable decisions.
• Build monitoring pipelines to detect unexpected shifts in search traffic patterns.
• Expand evaluation datasets for page context understanding across complex scenarios.
• Improve trigger systems for AI-assisted answers while balancing quality and privacy standards.
