About the role
Axiom is seeking Data Privacy Lawyers to support a large privacy team in the UK through flexible in-house engagements. The role involves providing business-focused advice on data protection and privacy compliance across a variety of client industries.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical, business-focused advice on data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy, international data transfers, data governance, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements involving data protection and data-sharing provisions, including DPAs, intra-group agreements, vendor contracts, technology agreements, and data processing terms.
- Lead on key privacy deliverables, including DPIAs, LIAs, data mapping, DSAR responses, privacy notices, records of processing, and internal privacy policies and procedures.
- Support the design and implementation of privacy frameworks, data governance programmes, vendor risk processes, and compliance controls, working closely with legal, compliance, product, technology, and business teams.

Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer in the UK or an equivalent jurisdiction
