Senior Data Consultant – Reference Data & Data Quality

About the role

Delta Capita is seeking a Senior Data Consultant to support a major client reference data and data quality transformation programme within a leading Investment Bank. This role sits at the intersection of business, data and technology, working closely with stakeholders to identify, analyse and remediate complex reference data issues across Front Office and Capital Markets functions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and investigate client, counterparty and reference data issues across multiple asset classes including Rates, Credit and FX.
• Perform detailed root cause analysis across data, process, technology, control and governance layers.
• Use SQL and data analysis techniques to interrogate large datasets, identify data anomalies and validate remediation activities.
• Map data lineage, data flows and ownership across upstream and downstream systems.
• Document data quality issues, business impacts, control gaps and remediation recommendations.
• Support the design and implementation of data quality frameworks, governance processes and operating models.
• Facilitate workshops with business, operations, technology and data stakeholders to gather requirements and validate findings.
• Support programme governance by providing status updates, issue tracking and remediation reporting.
