About the role

The Educational Content Developer will design and develop self-paced learning experiences for Karbon Academy, the company's primary lever for customer onboarding and product adoption. This role involves creating end-to-end educational content, including structured courses, job aids, and in-product guidance, while utilizing AI-assisted workflows to maintain high production standards. The developer will also analyze learner data and product usage to continuously improve content effectiveness and support the broader customer success and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze learning needs with subject matter experts to define objectives and scope.
  • Design and develop engaging, self-paced learning experiences across various formats including e-learning, video, and interactive modules.
  • Create time-of-need performance support such as job aids, quick reference guides, and in-product guidance.
  • Develop assessments and knowledge checks to measure learner comprehension and capability.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate storyboarding, scripting, and research while ensuring accuracy and instructional soundness.
  • Analyze learner data, customer feedback, and product usage to recommend and implement content improvements.
  • Support LMS administration, consumption reporting, and certification badging.
