Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer - Project Delivery & Implementation

About the role

Cuculus is looking for a hands-on senior engineer to design, build, implement and manage secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud and infrastructure environments for customer projects. The role involves owning customer environment delivery from architecture through provisioning, implementation, migration, and production readiness. This is not a routine support role, as the engineer will assist with critical customer issues requiring specialist expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure or equivalent platforms.
• Implement version-controlled Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and develop secure, reusable modules.
• Deploy, configure and manage OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation using tools such as Ansible, Helm, GitOps, Python and Bash.
• Apply cloud security, compliance and governance requirements across IAM, encryption, and network controls.
• Assess and support infrastructure and workload migrations, including cutover planning and validation.
• Develop cloud and infrastructure standards, architecture records, and operational runbooks.
