About the role
Vicoland is seeking a Tech Lead to drive the technical direction and architecture of its AI-driven SaaS platform. You will lead and grow an engineering team, balancing hands-on development with strategic leadership to build scalable, robust software. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical roadmaps while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead, grow, and enable a team of engineers through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Own the technical direction, architecture, and technology decisions across the full stack.
- Contribute features end-to-end by coding, building prototypes, and utilizing AI to ship high-quality software.
- Translate business needs into technical roadmaps in cooperation with Product and Business Development teams.
- Establish engineering standards and quality gates for concept, design, development, QA, and deployment.
- Improve AI-assisted development practices, including model selection, evaluation, tracing, and observability.
- Act as a strategic partner to the Chief Product Officer on technology strategy and build-vs-buy decisions.
