Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the platform that powers Workist's AI agents, including cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipelines. You will define the platform roadmap, ensure security and observability, and collaborate with the CTO to drive engineering decisions. This role involves balancing long-term infrastructure projects with daily operational support and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of cloud environments across Azure and AWS including network and identity structure
• Design and deliver platform capabilities such as GPU capacity and LLM gateways
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and managed data services to ensure scalability and cost-efficiency
• Maintain security posture through patch management, network isolation, and vulnerability remediation
• Lead incident response and observability efforts to ensure reliable system performance
• Execute regular backup, restore, and disaster-recovery testing
