Senior Backend Engineer (Go), Storage Platform

About the role

As part of the Platform department, you will help improve and automate operations for the storage access platform, a real-time database abstraction layer designed for scale and resiliency. You will join a team of engineers to design, build, and optimize this platform, ensuring smooth developer onboarding and continuous improvement. The role involves working on platform features such as UI for developer teams, storage abstraction, database automation, client SDKs, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize the storage access platform and its features.
• Develop and maintain platform components including client SDKs, proxies, and Change Data Capture pipelines.
• Implement and manage database automation, caching, and ephemeral storage solutions.
• Manage Hot and Cold storage systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal developer users.
