Head of Quality Assurance – Industrial Corrosion Protection

About the role

The Head of Quality Assurance will lead the QA team and oversee quality management systems for a company specializing in industrial corrosion protection and steel container construction. This role involves managing internal quality processes, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with international standards for the chemical and energy sectors. The position requires a hands-on leader who can drive quality improvements while maintaining direct communication with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and further develop QM systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, DGR 2014/68/EU, and SCC-VAZ 2021
• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership for the QA team
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and suppliers regarding quality issues
• Plan and conduct system, monitoring, and certification audits
• Analyze internal errors and customer complaints to derive and track corrective actions
• Organize and accompany inspections in container and corrosion protection construction
• Coordinate non-destructive testing procedures
