About the role
Canonical is seeking an Embedded Linux Field Engineer to support mission-critical industries including automotive, robotics, and industrial systems. The role involves engaging with customers during presales, designing technical solutions, and participating in project delivery. You will act as a trusted advisor and customer advocate while leveraging your deep expertise in Linux systems and embedded development.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain technology
- Elaborate solutions to be proposed to prospective clients
- Participate in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux
- Convey market requirements to key stakeholders within the organization
- Participate in the development or refining of generic solutions to unlock market potential
- Act as a customer advocate and trusted advisor to Canonical
