Legal AI Engineer

About the role

Legartis is seeking a Legal AI Engineer to bridge the gap between customer legal workflows and AI product development. You will translate complex legal requirements into technical specifications, build and test AI agent skills, and ensure solutions are scalable and sellable. This role requires a unique blend of legal expertise, commercial instinct, and hands-on technical ability to build and ship AI-powered tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer legal workflows into engineering requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Build, test, and ship agent skills and playbooks to solve real customer problems.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure and improve AI performance.
• Standardize demo environments and onboarding processes for Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Provide legal and compliance guidance for internal matters and customer security inquiries.
