Senior Chemical Purchaser

About the role

The Senior Chemical Purchaser will lead procurement strategies and manage supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk production site. This role involves monitoring forecasts, managing contracts within SAP MM, and ensuring the availability of raw and packaging materials across the Kolb Group. The position also serves as an operational deputy to the Team Lead and contributes to cross-site procurement projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of a forward-looking procurement strategy
• Independently lead price, contract, and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk production site
• Monitor and analyze forecasts and conduct actual-versus-target evaluations across the Kolb Group
• Manage contracts within the SAP MM module
• Support and further develop the contract management tool
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials
• Contribute to the development of contingency and supply security concepts
• Act as the operational deputy to the Team Lead Chemical Procurement and coordinate cross-site procurement projects
• Manage the strategic and operational sourcing of packaging materials for the Kolb Group
• Serve as a member of the SAP MM Core Team
