Senior Chemical Purchaser

About the role

The Senior Chemical Purchaser will lead procurement strategy and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk production site while managing raw material and packaging availability. This role involves cross-site project coordination, SAP MM module management, and the development of supply security concepts. The position requires a strategic mindset to drive procurement efficiency within an international chemical group.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of a forward-looking procurement strategy
• Independently lead price, contract, and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk production site
• Monitor and analyze forecasts and conduct actual-versus-target evaluations across the Kolb Group
• Manage contracts within the SAP MM module
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials
• Contribute to the development of contingency and supply security concepts
• Act as the operational deputy to the Team Lead Chemical Procurement
• Manage the strategic and operational sourcing of packaging materials for the Kolb Group
