Senior Chemical Purchaser

About the role

The Senior Chemical Purchaser will lead procurement strategies and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk production site while managing raw material and packaging availability. This role involves monitoring forecasts, overseeing SAP MM contract management, and providing functional leadership for cross-site procurement projects. The position requires a strategic approach to supply security and active participation in the SAP MM Core Team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of a forward-looking procurement strategy
• Independently lead price, contract, and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk production site
• Monitor and analyze forecasts and conduct actual-versus-target evaluations across the Kolb Group
• Manage contracts within the SAP MM module and support the development of the contract management tool
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials
• Contribute to the development of contingency and supply security concepts
• Act as the operational deputy to the Team Lead Chemical Procurement and coordinate cross-site procurement projects
• Manage the strategic and operational sourcing of packaging materials for the Kolb Group
