About the role

The Commercial Planning team at SumUp turns complex data into financial insights that shape company growth. This role supports the Sales function by owning analytical and planning workstreams while acting as a trusted finance partner to Sales leadership. You will be responsible for complex modeling, understanding sales performance drivers, and influencing commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end revenue and customer acquisition budget planning for acquisition channels.
  • Act as a primary finance business partner to Sales and commercial leaders to embed financial models into decision-making.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses at country, merchant category, and channel level to surface revenue risks and opportunities.
  • Build business cases and product-level revenue forecasts to support growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to the migration of commercial planning from spreadsheets to scalable forecasting tools.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to an intern and/or analyst.
