About the role
The Robotaxi team is responsible for taking Wayve's AI Driver to public-scale deployment on global ride-hail platforms. This role involves defining and owning the end-to-end performance operating system, including metrics, triage, and release gates for an autonomous driving system. You will lead cross-functional execution to ensure performance outcomes and maintain high standards for production deployments.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the autonomy performance measurement framework for Robotaxi including metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
- Build and run the end-to-end performance improvement loop to detect issues, triage, and drive root-cause investigations.
- Lead cross-functional execution across AV core, evaluation, robotics, and SRE teams to align roadmaps to performance outcomes.
- Define and enforce performance release gates and regression detection for production deployments.
- Stay hands-on in data and code to accelerate debugging and unblock delivery.
