Senior Software Engineer, Admin & IAM

About the role

The Admin & IAM team at Mural defines how users sign in, manage their identities, and access products, while providing administrators with tools to configure and govern their organizations. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and ship end-to-end capabilities ranging from identity primitives like authentication flows to enterprise admin surfaces. You will own complex technical initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver secure, intuitive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve core identity and access systems including authentication, authorization, SSO, and user provisioning.
• Develop enterprise administration experiences such as company configuration, billing, and internal tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and ship secure, intuitive access and administration features.
• Prototype, implement, and maintain platform features while acting as a technical expert and mentor.
• Own technical initiatives from design through implementation, rollout, and operational support.
• Build observable and maintainable solutions with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
• Utilize AI tools to improve productivity, code quality, and system understanding.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and team process improvements.
