About the role

The Hausmeister will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings and technical facilities in Potsdam. This role involves monitoring building systems, coordinating external service providers, and ensuring the overall order and safety of the property.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and upkeep tasks on buildings and technical systems.
• Monitor the proper operation of building technology and resolve malfunctions independently.
• Coordinate external service providers for larger projects and ensure quality control.
• Conduct inspection rounds and maintain outdoor areas, including winter services.
• Document work performed, report repair needs, and support technical property management.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in a trade such as HVAC technician or electronics technician for building systems
• Professional experience as a caretaker, facility technician, or facility manager
