Senior Product Manager II, Developer ecosystem MCP

About the role

Smartsheet is seeking a senior product leader to own the adoption and growth strategy for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a critical AI connectivity layer. This individual contributor role involves bridging field signals with engineering direction to support CLI power users, agent builders, and developers. You will partner with engineering leadership to drive product strategy, launch capabilities, and ensure the platform delivers measurable value to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the MCP adoption strategy and shape roadmap priorities based on usage and persona evidence.
• Run research and data analysis to understand usage patterns and convert connections into daily value.
• Champion core product personas by spending time with users and making their needs legible to engineering.
• Conduct customer pilots and proof of concepts to capture use cases and create reference stories.
• Build demos, playbooks, and documentation to enable Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions teams.
• Partner with the MCP engineering lead to jointly own the go-live and launch plan for new capabilities.
• Define success metrics and use post-launch data to guide iteration and prioritisation.
