Product Director, Cloud & Inference

About the role

Mistral is seeking a Product Director to lead the end-to-end strategy and development of its cloud infrastructure and inference portfolio. This role involves defining the product vision, building and leading a high-performing product organization, and driving adoption and revenue for foundational AI systems. The successful candidate will partner with engineering and research teams to deliver high-performance, cost-efficient AI solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and annual goals for Inference and Cloud products.
• Own product adoption, revenue contribution, and gross margin while partnering with GTM teams on pricing and packaging.
• Build and lead the product organization by hiring product managers and establishing effective operating cadences.
• Drive product-market fit by working directly with AI-native startups and enterprises.
• Partner with engineering leadership to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performance compute infrastructure and inference platforms.
• Monitor competitive landscapes and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Engineering background prior to moving into product management
