PHP & React Software Engineer

About the role

Enumerate is seeking a PHP & React Software Engineer to modernize core product and platform systems while building a new mobile application. This role balances developing new mobile-facing functionality and APIs with maintaining the stability of an existing vanilla PHP codebase. The engineer will collaborate with Product, QA, and Support teams to resolve production issues and ensure consistent behavior across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Help stand up a new React Native mobile application from project setup through release.
• Build and extend PHP APIs and services to support mobile integration.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve bugs within a vanilla PHP application.
• Analyze logs and monitoring data to identify root causes of production issues.
• Collaborate with QA and Support to reproduce and validate fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain code quality.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.
