Senior Analyst, Permanent Control

About the role

As a Senior Analyst in the Permanent Controls team, you will join a global Second Line of Defence function to exercise independent oversight and framework monitoring over the organization's finance domain. You will partner with the First Line of Defence to design control standards, execute control plans, and proactively identify vulnerabilities to ensure operational integrity. This role focuses on continuous control design and execution rather than periodic auditing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate identified risks into comprehensive 2nd line control plans, standards, and templates.
• Partner with the First Line of Defence teams to design, refine, and assess their control matrices.
• Formalize and execute second line permanent controls across critical perimeters including financial regulatory reporting and safeguarding mechanisms.
• Present detailed control findings and anomaly reports to the Head of Permanent Controls and track remediation recommendations.
• Identify operational control gaps and propose practical solutions to drive improvements to the overall control framework.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimization of automated control tools and tracking dashboards.
