About the role
As an Asset Architect, you will design the digital architecture for large-scale battery storage systems, ensuring reliable automation, control, and data communication. You will oversee the end-to-end integration of new assets into the existing OT landscape, from initial planning to operational deployment. Your role is critical in scaling the company's technical infrastructure and ensuring consistent, standardized system integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end digital architecture for new battery storage projects.
- Integrate new assets into the existing OT landscape, including PLC, SCADA, energy management systems, and historians.
- Take technical responsibility for the application of communication standards like IEC 61850 and OPC UA.
- Manage technical contributions from suppliers and integrators and ensure quality control.
- Develop and maintain architectural templates and standardized connection concepts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent system architecture and contribute to technical tender requirements.
