About the role
Cohere is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to join our Generative Machine Learning organization. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, scale operational capacity, and partner with senior leadership to drive the development of our core generative models. This role requires a pragmatic leader capable of navigating complex, fast-paced environments to ensure predictable execution.
Responsibilities
- Establish, improve, and scale foundational processes for Generative Modeling teams.
- Scale the operational capacity and effectiveness of the Modeling TPM team.
- Partner with leaders to design, train, and improve core generative models.
- Lead cross-functional, company-wide programs and strategic initiatives.
- Operate as an organizational expert in improving engineering execution rigor and operations.
- Map out dependencies and risks while communicating status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage resource needs and clarify scope in response to evolving priorities.
