Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

LiveEO is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to the development of SurfaceScout, a core product that transforms satellite data into actionable insights for critical infrastructure. This role involves taking ownership of the application from user-facing features to backend services and data flows. You will work within a squad to design, build, and scale the product while providing technical leadership and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features end to end using TypeScript and Python.
• Define and implement integrations with platform and data services.
• Collaborate across teams to align on architecture, APIs, and engineering standards.
• Own key architectural decisions including service boundaries and data models.
• Iterate on feedback from stakeholders to evolve features into production-grade solutions.
• Mentor teammates and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Champion best practices in code quality, documentation, testing, and observability.
